Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra Silent Auction 2011
The FBSO will be holding a Silent Auction during our final concert of the season on May 22, 2011. The auction will feature goods and services from local businesses as well as items hand-made by orchestra members and volunteers, and the blog will showcase items as they become available. The concert is "A Night at the Movies" and tickets sell out very fast for this exciting event! This queen size, one of a kind functional piece of art, would be dazzling on a bed or adding that extra touch of warmth while cuddling. This original designed quilt was made for musicians and music lovers alike. The multi colored quilt blocks contain exceptional batiks. With appliquéd hearts and music notations of ultra suede, the quilt has a rich yet soft “want to touch” texture. The detail to color & design give this quilt a unique flow and draw the viewer into it. With signatures from the Ft. Bend Symphony Orchestra members in the boarder, this quilt blends art and musical history harmoniously. The orchestration of piecework and stitching was composed by music lovers themselves. Completely washable.
